This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a firearm for the protection of self and family and information on the law-abiding citizen's right to self-defense.

Prerequisite: Basic Pistol, military qualification, concealed-carry permit or passing a pre-course evaluation.
